The 6th course of IDTiMA mini MBA: Innovation and Design Thinking in Mobile Applications and Services, a joint initiative of AUEB/Eltrun, Samsung, HAMAC and INNOVATHENS powered by Samsung. The course is being offered for free and is dedicated to students of excellence or graduates from Universities, Technical and Polytechnical Schools, who are unemployed and wish to acquire skills in digital business, emphasized in the constantly field of mobile applications and services. This course helps the participants in designing and development of new services and products based in mobile innovative technologies.  

HAMAC organized another workshop for the Marine 4.0 member companies trying to make a plan of the next steps to be followed: The agenda of the workshop was: 1.  Participation in exhibitions specialized in Shipping Industry. 2.  Portfolio of the products and services that HAMAC member companies offer for the Shipping Industry. 3.  Participation in Posidonia 2018 national exhibition Representatives from Metis Cyberspace Technologies, Danaos Management Systems, Vidabo, LevanteFerries, Hellas Digital, Softweb and Propulsion Analytics participated in the workshop    

Η πρωτότυπη έρευνα «Η Ελληνίδα στην Ψηφιακή Εποχή»  με θέμα τη σχέση των γυναικών με τα σύγχρονα τεχνολογικά εργαλεία της ψηφιακής επικοινωνίας και τη θέση τους στην οικονομική και κοινωνική ζωή, παρουσιάστηκε σε ειδική εκδήλωση στο Μέγαρο Υπατία την Τετάρτη 7 Μαρτίου 2018, με την ευκαιρία της ημέρας της Γυναίκας. Ακολούθησε συζήτηση με τη συμμετοχή γυναικών που έχουν διακριθεί στον επιχειρηματικό, ακαδημαϊκό και δημοσιο διοικητικό χώρο.Η εκδήλωση διοργανώθηκε από τον ΣΕΚΕΕ – Σύνδεσμος Εταιρειών Κινητών Εφαρμογών Ελλάδος, σε συνεργασία με το ΙΜΕ-ΓΣΕΒΕΕ και τη συνδρομή της εταιρείας ερευνών Kάπα Research. Στην εισαγωγική του ομιλία ο Γενικός Διευθυντής του ΣΕΚΕΕ κ. Γιάννης Κωτσής-Γιανναράκης επισήμανε ότι: “Είναι κρυφό μυστικό στο χώρο της τεχνολογίας ότι ο ρόλος της γυναίκας στην καινοτομία και στην ανάπτυξη των επιχειρήσεων είναι πολύ πιο σημαντικός από ότι δείχνουν τα ποσοστά των γυναικών στα διοικητικά συμβούλια στα ερευνητικά τμήματα και γενικότερα στα στελέχη αυτών των επιχειρήσεων Από την άλλη, είναι διαπιστωμένο ότι οι εταιρείες που διοικούνται σε μεγάλο ποσοστό από γυναίκες, έχουν κατά μέσο όρο 20% αυξημένη  παραγωγικότητα!! Έτσι ο στόχος για ίσες ευκαιρίες στην απασχόληση και στη δημιουργική εξέλιξη στον επαγγελματικό χώρο, αποτελεί πλέον έναν παγκόσμιο στόχο του οργανισμού Ηνωμένων Εθνών και και μάλιστα αναφέρεται σαν ο στόχος υπ αριθμόν 5 στην ανάπτυξη. Η επίτευξη αυτού του στόχου αποτέλεσε φέτος ένα από τα βασικά θέματα του συνεδρίου Mobile World Congress 2018 που πραγματοποιήθηκε στη Βαρκελώνη την περασμένη εβδομάδα και στο οποίο η Ελλάδα συμμετείχε για 6η συνεχή χρονιά, με πρωτοβουλία του ΣΕΚΕΕ. Δυστυχώς, όμως, η εικόνα για τη χώρα  μας δεν είναι καθόλου καλή. Η Ελλάδα καταλαμβάνει την τελευταία θέση στον Δείκτη Ισότητας των Φύλων, σύμφωνα με την πρόσφατη ανακοίνωση του Ευρωπαϊκού Ινστιτούτου για την Ισότητα των Φύλων (EIGE). Το να αλλάξουμε αυτή τη θέση αποτελεί μια σημαντική πρόκληση για όλους μας”, κατέληξε. Την έρευνα της Kάπα Research παρουσίασε  ο κ. Γεράσιμος Ρουτζούνης, τα Κεντρικά συμπεράσματα της οποίας είναι: 75% των Ελλήνων χρηστών του internet με το smartphone στο χέρι, χρησιμοποιούν το διαδίκτυο τακτικά και αποτελεσματικά.  Η 4η βιομηχανική επανάσταση βρίσκει γυναίκες και άνδρες ίσους Η Ελλάδα «ψηφιακά» έτοιμη να περάσει στην επόμενη φάση Η «κινητή διακυβέρνηση» ξεκινά από την Τοπική Αυτοδιοίκηση και στη συνέχεια η κα Ιωάννα Προφύρη από το ΙΜΕ-ΓΣΕΒΕ αναφέρθηκε στο “χάσμα” ανάμεσα στις δυνατότητες και στην πραγματικότητα της συμμετοχής των γυναικών στην κοινωνική, οικονομική και πολιτική ζωή στην Ελλάδα. Την εκδήλωση χαιρέτησε η Άννα-Μισέλ Ασημακοπούλου, Βουλευτής, Υπεύθυνη Τομέα Ψηφιακής Πολιτικής, Τηλεπικοινωνιών και Ενημέρωσης της Νέας Δημοκρατίας. Σε πάνελ συζήτησης συμμετείχαν οι: Ζέφη Δημαδάμα, Αντιπρόεδρος PES Women Δέσποινα Μητροπούλου, Γενική Διευθύντρια, Οργανισμός Ανοικτών Τεχνολογιών Νάνσυ Καρανάσιου, CTO, Vidavo AE Μαρία Μπούρα, Υπεύθυνη Στρατηγικής, Ericsson Νάνσυ Ρουτζούνη, Μηχανικός Πληροφοριακών Συστημάτων, Σύμβουλος Δημοσίων Πολιτικών Ψηφιακής Πολιτικής, Υπουργείο Διοικητικής Ανασυγκρότησης

In the occasion of “Women’s Day”, HAMAC in cooperation with IME-GSEVEE, presented the specific research (by Kapa-Research) about the relation of women with the updated technological tools in digital communication. A panel of 5 women in the first line of businesses shared their experience and difficulties they face in every day business and proposed possible solutions. HAMAC organized for the 6th consecutive year the Greek participation in Mobile World Congress, the biggest event in Digital Communication. This year, our presence was upgraded, participating at the same time with a Greek Pavillion at the parallel event 4 Years From Now (4YFN), dedicated to startups. 35 companies presented their innovative products and services in both venues. Greece Scales Up! was our motto this year.  

Yiannis Kotsis-Giannarakis participated in Balkan and Black Sea Cluster (BBC ICT Cluster), a clusters initiative aiming in helping the BB area clusters in having access in funding via european funded projects or other initiatives for enhancing businesses between the cluster’s members.  

HAMAC, organized the thematic workshop “Technology Helps Economy: Shipping and Technology”, On Friday the 19th of Jaunary 2018 at INNOVATHENS powered by Samsung. In this workshop George Xiradakis, Propeller Club Chairman presented the latest updates in shipping and future synergies with the technological innovators while HAMAC member companies offering innovative technological solutions in the shipping industry presented their products and services. A constructive discussion followed, for the development of synergies in the shipping field. The companies that presented in the workshop were: Propulsion Analytics, Metis Cyberspace Technologies, comBox (by Protonyx Data Services), Vidavo, Nable Solutions  

National Awards in Client Services (Εθνικά Βραβεία Εξυπηρέτησης Πελατών)  

A workshop dedicated to games developers, trying to help them in solving major issues related to their business. Some of the basic FAQs that the games developers are trying to figure out: How do i fund a video game? What are the dangers in funding? How do I patent my idea? What is the target group in which my game will be applied? How do I feature in Play Store? How do I choose the best possible channel for promoting my game? At the workshop, speakers-experts from the field of gaming, games business and marketing participated trying to give solutions to all these questions. Christian Fonnesbech presented how Figuring out investors, publishers and partners Marili Mitropoulou presented Smarter Growth, Powered by Google’s Machine Learning Renia Papathanasiou, Prodromos Tsiavos and Iraklis Papatheodorou presented IPRGames: Stories of business and hope from the Game Industry in Greece Yiannis Kotsis-Giannarakis, George Markatatos represented HAMAC and presented its initiatives for the enhancement of the Game Industry in Greece.
